About me
Following my graduation from Paul Mitchel’s school in Texas, I was eager to learn more about the art of hair. I sough out a salon the would allow me to further my education, eventually leading me to instruct others. Nearly 7 years at Toni & Guy allowed me to master texturizing as well as perfecting a clean cut. When I started feeling complacent in my growth, I Ieft for a full time barber and cosmetology educator position at The Academy of Hair Design. My years of experience have allowed me to attend a handful of classes from the TIGI Academy on New York, The International Beauty Show in Las Vegas, Lanza in Cancun, to countless local classes.

Andrea is really great at what she does and she really cares about what the customer wants. She's a coloring wizard, she can make anything possible as long as you trust her. During the consultation she worked with me, and talked through what my options were for getting from my 2-inch dark brown roots and orange blonde hair to a soft pastel purple WITHOUT damaging your hair. I could really tell she knows coloring like the back of her hand. She gave me exactly the results I was looking for.
I won't I'll ever let anyone else touch my hair while I'm in Austin!

My hair was a nightmare because of a) difficult hair that wants to pull red and b) successive home dye attempts: lots of different colors and all of them brassy and horrible. Andrea devised a plan for slowly - so it wouldn't kill my hair- eliminating all of the red that I had in my hair and also managed each time to make it look good. I gave up on 3 experienced colorists before finding her. She grew up around hair salons, started working in high school and now is considered an expert in the field - she teaches as well as takes clients. Can't recommend her any more highly.
